Shin Splints
Shin splints are a condition that causes pain and sometimes swelling in the front part of the lower leg (shin).  The pain is most likely from repeated stress on the shin bone (tibia) and the tissue that connects the muscle to the tibia. They are common in people who run or jog. Activities where you run or jump on hard surfaces, such as basketball or tennis, can also lead to this painful condition.  Most people with shin splints feel pain on the front lower part of the leg. Some people may also notice mild swelling.

When one first experiences the pain, it may only occur at the beginning of a workout and feel like a dull ache or soreness. If left untreated, the pain can become sharper and last until exercise is completed. In severe cases, the pain will continue after the workout.

Why Choose Airrosti for Shin Splints?
Airrosti consistently corrects the cause and pain associated with shin splints allowing individuals to return to their normal activity and an increased quality of life.

Each Airrosti visit will consist of ONE HOUR of 1-on-1 patient time.  This is a key component to evaluate the specific cause of your pain.   A more detailed evaluation leads to an accurate diagnosis followed by precise treatment to correct the underlying cause.  In nearly all cases, our treatment model allows for rapid recovery, complete resolution and lasting results.

Our commitment to each patient is to make an immediate impact on their injury (within 1-2 treatments) or refer them to the appropriate specialist.  Unlike traditional methods of treatment, you will never hear an AIRROSTI patient say, “I had several treatments and didn’t get any better.” Call today to schedule an appointment.
